Deadwood Ranch Water Supply and Wastewater
- Flow and pressure modeling to meet fire suppression system requirements
- Land use application
- Septic system designed for difficult soil conditions
RFE designed a large water system for a privately-owned ranch above Basalt. This system supplies 8 separate structures and the distribution line runs over 1,800 feet and under a creek. High points required the design to include multiple air relief valves. Flow and pressure modeling was performed on the system using Civil 3D software to ensure the requirements of the fire suppression systems were met. A fire supply tank was required in the design, along with a 7,400- foot roadway alignment. RFE observed and provided quality control to the general contractor during the project. The project was complete in 2015 and tested. The system is now fully functioning and performing as intended.
In 2018 RFE worked on the land use application for the main house which needed all utilities brought to it. RFE designed the septic system in difficult soil conditions and has received approval to begin construction.
